Where I've Been

A few months ago, I had a breakdown after realizing I was spreading myself too thin. I was managing a YouTube channel, an Instagram, trying to keep up my grades, playing a lead in the school play, and was being harassed at school.

I felt sick.

I decided I need to sort my priorities. Mental health came first, so I made an appointment with my therapist and uninstalled all social media besides YouTube and took a break from making videos. I was writing scripts in my theatre class and playing Happy Medium in the school play A Wrinkle in Time, so most of my creative needs were filled.

Second was my grades. Without the pressure of having to make YouTube videos, I had more time to do homework without sacrificing sleep. In my free time, I was able to draw, learn my lines, and bit by bit write a script for a short film I was planning.

Third was my social life. Because I can't drive, I'm not able to go out with friends much. I spent a lot of my free time in Wrinkle, so that help me socialize. I also was able to text my friends when I wasn't doing homework.

I was finally able to take a breath and focus on what I love to do, which was being social and theatre. I noticed I was so much happier when I wasn't stressing all the time, and I still want to keep that up.

Sewing Fever

Hey! Its been a while since I updated anything. I partially blame this inactivity on FINALS WEEK (dun dun duuuuun), and partially blame it on my illness.

Sewing Fever.

I've spent almost all my time in the craft room downstairs sewing doll clothes and accessories, downloading patterns, and even typing this blog post. Sewing doll clothes have taken over my life right now, in a bittersweet way.

Somehow, from this Sewing Fever, I ended up with 3 bleeding scratches on my hand! I have one of those wrist pincushions, so the scratches are likely from pins that were pushed in too deep and scratched my hand open when taking off and on this evil pincushion.

On the plus side though, I get tons of new dolls clothes!

What happened to TROLAD?

As i write this, I am procrastinating finishing the script for episode 2 of my series, Spotlight. But, I'm here to explain what happen to TROLAD(The Realm Of Light And Dark)

The first episode of TROLAD was released on January 1st of this year. I didn't edit any other episode at all until a few days ago. For some reason, I decided to use an editor that wasn't installed on my computer. I had a ton of tabs open, with finished but not saved episodes. The files that held the clips on my phone were deleted after the clips were loaded onto my computer to the terrible software. I didn't save anything (like an idiot) but had the tabs open.

Long story short, i lost the files. My computer crashed, which caused me to lose all of the episode on every device they were on. My friend, who helped me produce the series, lives across the county, so i have no way of re-filming the episodes.

There will be no more TROLAD episodes. That's why i created Spotlight, to replace the series that will never be finished. Sorry.
